Hahaha, you're not alone. My Hosho's fully upgraded but a long way to unlock Zuiho as I only get 200+ XP on average per battle on coop. I think Zuiho will give me the chance to try out dive bombers.

USN DD can be used to train Captains for CA and BB too since all the skills are quite relevant, including possibly CE. I really don't bother with Torp Armament Expertise nor Torp Acceleration for my USN DD. But for CV, tak boleh la since some captain skills only benefit CV eg Expert Rear Gunner, Dogfighting Expert, Aircraft Servicing Expert and Air Supremacy.

German BB suck at long range sniping because of their guns' high dispersion. But at medium range between 8-11 km, German BB rock!! At close range up to 6 km, German BB secondaries can make mince pie of almost any ship. This is especially evident if the Captain has manual secondary control. This is where the Bismarck really excel because her secondary guns can hit up to 10km range with AFT.

Sometimes, djhenry, Marcion and I division with 3 shiny horses. Really fun!!

Playing CV, you really need to constantly look at the mini map. Also, keep your CV moving by setting autopilot waypoints and read messages. Those who cannot multi-task need to stay away from playing CV.

Training helps to improve one's skill. I do recall when I started playing DD, I could not even hit a target going in a straight line with my torps

With the German BB and British cruiser lines introduced so closely, too many ships to grind. As I will be clearing leave soon, will have more time to focus on grinding the British first. Another 120k XP to unlock T9 Neptune and hopefully, T10 Minotaur before end of 2016. Then, back to German BB.

But the revamped IJN DD tech tree also coming out soon...aargh....so many ships, so little time

EDIT : The T8 Edinburgh is a nice ship to play but always kena bottom tier in T10 battles, very susah.

Pearl Harbor missions starting, more freebies to be earned

How's everyone progressing with the new campaigns? I currently stuck at Mission 2 with Task 8 (earn 1 Arsonist achievement) and Task 9 (earn 500 free XP in one battle) under Science of Victory. Somehow, can't manage to get 500 free XP in one battle, even with Papa Papa flag. Maybe with premium? As for the Arsonist achievement, keep kena KS

As for Honorable Service campaign, hope to finish Mission 1 Task 6 (win 7 battles...) soon and then the final task (earn 3mil credits).
