Cool. Just remember to save your stardust and dont power them up except for vaporeon if you have one with high IV + watergun/hydropump.

Nidoking is quite rubbish in gyms so you can always just evolve those higher CP nidorans that you catch when you level up.

If you have loads of stardust, why not?

Dragonites are nice but speedy yet tanky vaporeons are more fun to use to attack gyms.

Its all by random wan.

Type advantage.... pidgeot's great for grass and bug types especially with wing attack and hurricane.

But most of all, its easy to acquire, doesn't cost any stardust since can just catch higher CP one to evolve or if the moveset is not nice.

Quality dragonites there.

One fine day i shall have a d.breath dragonite. Farming's been really slow without radar. This week only caught 1 little dratini.

Yeah but its no dream team.

Yesterday i followed this crazy kid that focusses in dragonites... He's got 30 of them.. and 10 of them is > 3k attackers.

That guy's legit.

He hunts only in Beitou park which is the best dratini nest (for other rares too before 4th migration).

Yesterday alone he caught 40 dratinis, 4 dragonair and 2 Dragonites from morning till 6.30. I hunt there from about 1.30 to 6.30 and I caught 17 dratinis, 2 dragonair and 2 Dragonites so that's about right.

His gang quite pro wan.. they plotted all the lure and spots in Beitou park and notify by LINE group so if there's a spawn.

Lvl 30 team update.

Almost all of them are powered up but priority is on defenders rather than attackers.

Reason being is I can use a variety of low cost attackers to take out a 3K Dragonite but a gym defenders can't choose whats going to be used to attack them.

Dragonites are powered up to sit higher up established gyms if I chose to.

Snorlax is the best defenders... the most annoying for attackers as it forces them to commit a similarly high CP attacker and even if they manage to take it out, it will cost them a lot of potions.


While I try to power up only the high IV ones but some were wild caught and some have movesets that's more important than IV.

Like the Arcanine... I went through like 5 or 6 Arcanines before getting fire fang/ fire blast so while its IV is under 80%, its worth powering up.

I'll go with keeping the candies for a rainy day.

Reason being is 1.7K CP is good enough for attack role ... also that there's better pokemons to use for attack than snorlax that requires a lot of potions to heal.

The EQ snorlax IV is too low for the very precious candies.

Finally let loose your stardust aye.... dem joo gym hoarder.
