I opened a thread in Mobile Phone Garage Sales
then 2 days later he pm me to offer an IPhone 5s 64gb.

Date of transaction/Details of the complaint:
Aug 9 2016:
He pmed me to offer an Iphone 5s 64gb.
Aug 18 2016:
I contact him thru whatsapp to discuss more details.
Aug 19 2016:
The deal is on,I bank in to him RM900 by Maybank & he planned that to post
that day but suddenly had a meeting so decided tomorrow (Aug 20) only post.
Aug 20 2016:
He said he suddenly at Jb because of work so he asked his cousin to help post but the cousin not reply him at all.
And if anything happened he will settle it by Aug 24 when he's back to KL.

The same excuse went until...
Aug 24 2016:
He claimed that his cousin are ran away, which gave him a "headache" as well, so he said that he'll bank in back
RM900 for me but need to wait until 31 Aug or 1 Sept when was a paycheck day as he used up the RM900 to pay houses and bill.
Sept 2 2016:
Until today, I approach him thru Whatsapp but he didn't reply me and then I found that he blocked me.

Been suspect him since that day he said that he went to JB and ask cousin to do the postage.
I mean.. is it true? is the cousin exist? the excuses all that... come on man...
Try to be nice for the whole conversation end up I'm the one who are being cheated.

So what can I do? He did block whatsapp,phone call and facetime too.
RM900 is not a small money for me.
Sigh.

U can try lodge a report and pray that the police can help u trace him and get the money back. (Although most of the time your report would just be throw one side)

Cannot like that say. If not online seller like us very difficult to sell leh. I also bought all my phones online without issue. Just try to purchase it from a genuine online e-commerce site from sellers with high ratings.

I doesn't purchase from forum before as you're usually dealing with personal sellers instead of company registered sellers. Anyway just lodge a police report would do. In case one day he got caught and you saw him in the papers you can still get back your money. If that ever happens.

Bro, just a friendly advice. If you're buying something and the money involved is too much for you, always COD or buy in the shop. And as for me, never ever deal with seller who approach you to sell their items, unless you deal with them before. This is typical scammer way to scam our money.

And its hard to trace back cases like this. Unless you can meet him face to face and lodge police report only.

bye2 ur rm900 bro..coz scammer is always right in Malaysia..they will fly freely and police always tido all the time.
but rm900 is a tough lesson..but pls practice COD next time..no trust lyn members even they are moderator or what so ever called

The advice i can give is only buy from legit & verified seller. Google everything before making payment. Ask mods or anyone here to confirm before bank in. They are gladly to help u. Hah muka pun da mcm pm kite
