hi guys, i recently got a new card from citibank to replace my old one. i added the new card to paypal and made it primary. do i need to confirm the card to be able to use it?

after i confirm, how soon does it takes for the confirmation code to appear on my citibank statement? (paypal mentioned it's 2~3 days but would like to check with you guys..)

just won a bid on ebay and need to pay within 3 days, my concern is i can't get the code on time to confirm my new card to use it to pay.. just realized i don't have sufficient balance when i tried to made payment :\

wait for 2-3 days then check your online statement.. you should be able to see the code..
what debit card are you using anyway?

got internet banking? if got.. u'll see the code in the transaction list...

every month public bank will send u the statement right? check that statement.. you'll see the code .. just wait for the statement

Public D2D doesn't have a statement, it's just a normal ATM/debit card.
unlike PB VE, it has statement and you can also register online banking.
anyone how, for those who wants to use paypal with any bank's debit card and you don't have any savings account with them. The best is to register for online banking the moment you get your card. =)

Yeah could use the top up service but try seeing post #1448. Not sure they would limit your account. It's recommended to link your card if you're using it frequently.

Register for Verified by Visa first

Try upgrading your paypal account from Personal to Premier, it would actually solve the problem. As there was some limitation on sending and receiving money if your account is personal or non-verified. Hope this helps

that's not exactly the case.  previously malaysian was banned due to money laundering and fraud issues. Now they've reopened services to malaysian with tighter security measures.

do you often sendfunds to other accounts ? as in selling funds to another users?
keeping a large amount of money in paypal is always not recommended for some reasons.
having funds in account with other purpose of buying from merchants or selling as a merchant but for purpose of selling/buying funds often triggers an alarm to paypal to monitor account.

anybody have any experience requesting refund using paypal buyer protection??espeacialy those who purchase from ebay??
actually the seller already agree to refund but my question is...
do i have to open a case in paypal for my refund??
or the seller will do it for me??for refund process...
and another thing if we request for refund...will they refund it in RM or in original currency that we use in the first place (as last time i pay them in GBD)
