dunno..just try affin debit mastercard. open acc+apply debit card for only rm 100(u can withdraw later on from this rm100). yearly fees at rm20/year

No need to registered an bank account. Actually what i've been told by a bank personel, we may withdraw money in ATM with our debit card without any account registered to the bank. At the moment only public told me this. For your references, since PayPal did mention not all bank was able to withdraw using VISA/Master.I suggest you guys can call up the help centre to your bank and enquire.

Anyway TuneCard facilities is limited. Need go to Post Office to reload money. Hahaha i rather choose those with alot outlet such as Public Bank / Maybank and even at night also i able to reload money in the Kiosk.

Its an easier way to sell Paypal funds in here instead od withdrawing it, as there are quite some complicated steps along the way.

guys, got a problem here.

I just receive an email from paypal, it says any unverified account will get deleted in 72 hours. So i'm badly in need of a debit card now. I only have Hong Leong and RHB bank account, can get debit card from there?

i just need it for verification purpose, no withdrawing in the near future. need reply ASAP.

Mine is unverified but it stays there for more than a week already.

even if you register for a debit card before that 72 hours, you'll need to wait for about 2 weeks for them to verify and approve your application. for PBB's visa electron, you'll need to wait for a letter for them to tell you your application has been approved, and then to tell you to go bank in the min amount needed into your debit card account. after that need to wait a bit more before they tell you that the card is finally ready for you to go collect.

btw i've never heard of unverified accounts in paypal will get deleted. are you sure the email's genuine?

the email i received states that it is due to new policy change, the weird thing is the "get me verified" link on the mail is not working i.e. bad link. so i've sent an email to paypal themselves to clarify it.

i've been using paypal for quite some time, only dun get it verified coz i'm only 18 recently
got quite an amount in it oredi, that's why dun wanna get deleted. also thinks that it's about time to get it verified.

halo brother, when you receive email, any email that they said they are paypal, never ever in any circumstances click the link to enter your paypal from your email account! always go to www.paypal.com and check if the claim is true or not. if you think u had click the link and enter paypal, high likely they have your password dee. better abandon that account, get another one.

typical phishing tactic, give you email, cay something wrong happen so you get scared, they say "click this link to see the problem", u click, you enter your email and password, your money all gone.... if you have zero balance, next time when you have money in, they can enter anytime to transfer it away.

happen to me, they said that my money have been reverse transfer. some more a huge amount! wa my heart drop like gonna die. luckily my bf do a lot of research and told me never click any link they gave. when i go see my paypal, nothing wrong also. money all save inside.

oh btw pyroboy1911, you can get public bank debit card. bad news is, it takes 2 - 3 weeks for mine to be process use debit safer than credit. im still prudent to give my credit info online

but yea, after warning from other LYN forumers, and after a good night sleep after the email, i concluded it is phishing mail, and decided to forward it to paypal, and they confirmed the mail is indeed a phishing scam. one thing lucky about my situation is that the link from the mail is dead, will have error whenever i click on it, so i din enter any password or username there.

well, i'll be leaving for Aus soon, so i dont think it is any good to apply for a debit card now, maybe i'll do that over there.

Selling Fund from PayPal in LYN will save alot of money but if i did not have any buyer then how? I may need the money urgently to buy product and of cause i will try in LYN before i withdraw. Anyway withdraw money was 1 of my option only. The best was sell PayPal Fund to others.

:/ that's why, never trust any links that you get from emails. if you want to access to paypal, go directly to their website, not through links in emails.
