QUOTE(iampokemon @ Jan 19 2012, 01:40 PM) Using paypal link to debit card is the best in terms of charges(No charges for buyer), conversion(follow bank rate) and safety(able to open resolution case). If using debit card , is it possible to open charge back ?But actually either way is the same. Since now most e-commerce website provides protection plan for buyers whenever they place order. Unless you're going to those unknown websites then use Paypal is better. The best safety plan is using credit card linked to Paypal. As they can apply resolution case and in case it fail, able to apply chargeback via bank. |

QUOTE(arimii @ Dec 20 2012, 10:43 AM) My account is limited because they noticed some unusual log in activity with your account. I have no idea why since I only use Celcom broadband and Streamyx only . u can't provide mobile billSo to remove limited access , I have to show a proof of address by sent them a utility bills. What I should I do since i'm not the one who pay the utility bill in my house ? They don't accept mobile phone bills anyway :/ u can provide them for proof of add-->astro bill, electric bill, bank statement(maybank/cimb or bla2 which the maybank statement u can easily download from maybank2u) |

I just got Maybank Platinum Mastercard debit.
I was wondering why i couldn't verify it through this card and my card definitely have sufficient amount for the verifying process. When i click 'continue', this message keep showing up. "This credit card has been denied by the bank that issued your credit card. For details on why your card was denied, please contact your credit card issuer's customer service department. Or, you may want to try adding a different credit card. " I saw a lot of forumers comment about using maybank VISA debit have been successfully verified it. Is it not possible to verify using maybank MASTERCARD? |

If you are, Bank Negara dictates that MYR conversion is not allowed is not allowed. Therefore, although you have a balance in MYR, it cannot be converted to foreign currency. |

Hi guys, I'm new to paypal.
What happens if I don't add a credit/debit card to my paypal account? Can I still use it? Because I read in the Paypal site which states that if I don't verify my card with them my account has a payment/receipt limit. Does that mean I still can use it to buy items online without attaching a card to the account? Just to clarify, I have not added a card to my Paypal. When I click check out on a website and login my paypal there, it asks for my credit card number. Does this mean it's a 1 off payment (i.e. paying without attaching it to paypal) Any pros and cons? |

If you purchase something online and it request credit card number then that's credit card payment already, not by paypal. Paypal payment uses email only. There's pros and cons of course for linking your credit card. I actually prefer linking to debit card with less amount of money just for safety concern. How does it work actually? Using Paypal without linking a card? |

It's new. Trying to purchase in USD. Just curious if I enter my credit card at the paypal checkout is it the same as linking my card to my paypal? |
