Hi, I would like to get some feedback from merchants who uses PayPal as their payment gateway.
1) How easy and convenient is it to get your money from PayPal?
2) Do you incur any transaction/processing fee?

Paypal will incur 3.9% as processing fees by them.
it's easy to get money out from paypal, but if u plan to be a merchant using paypal, there would be many clarifications need to be done during the early stages which is quite a hassle.

Is the fund you're transferring is the same currency with the funds you have in your Paypal account? If it's different then that would probably be the case..

It used to be that Paypal allowed other banks apart from RHB to top-up Paypal accounts, but it's no longer the case. Does anyone know why Paypal removed all the other banks? It's annoying because I use Maybank and I want to pay for something with Paypal. If there isn't enough money in my Paypal account to pay for an item, will Paypal withdraw the rest of the cost from my bank account, or charge it to my credit card? And are there additional charges for that?

Thanks for the help!

hi guys. actually what is the withdrawal fee from paypal to a personal account, say maybank? it says there RM3.00 if amount is less than RM400.

but theres 2 options here.
1. withdraw to your bank account
2. withdraw to your card (this fee RM20)

so whats the difference??

The word card means Credit card. While bank account is your savings account if you're using debit card.

It will deduct from your savings account directly if the funds are insufficient there. Not really sure why they cancelled the top up function from other banks, but last time there's a lot of missing funds problem due to top up from other banks. Maybe that's the reason..

I think there's charges for credit card. You can use debit card as there will be no charges.

Yup you will have the code under your transaction there. You can view the code from your transaction list after 2days through online banking. After verify only able to direct deduct from your card when you made payment.

It will auto convert to their currency dollar from your bank account also. For Maybank it will write as "pre-auth transaction" follow by that that currency amount.

Anyone here with the same error from ebay??

I was at the ebay checkout screen , wanted to pay for an item that I have bought from ebay,

when I click "continue with paypal", after entering my paypal password, this error message will always appear

"Please add a bank account to your PayPal account to complete this purchase. For further assistance, follow the steps listed in the PayPal Help Center"

Where I have already linked my credit card, add in a bank account, this error message will still apear.

Any expert can help me sort this out?

Thank a million smile.gif

Last time i ask CIMB staff, they tell me can, but have to call them up for the 4digit verification code since they doesn't provide online access to the statement.

Since it's so much hassle everytime I have to call or go to the bank to request my statement, I uses Maybank and public bank debit card. Both are working well on Paypal.

Maybank needs extra verification, have to ask the bank staff to allow online trading during registration.

Try again after a few hours and see if the error message still pops out or not..
