Press the withdraw button in your account. Make sure to key in correct bank account information. You may find the bank's swift codes over here: http://www.theswiftcodes.com/malaysia/

I just got a Maybank Mastercard Debit, but I can't verify it on Paypal. Said has been rejected by the bank. Can somebody help? All the guides i found show Maybank Visa Debit.

This is bonkers since my last purchase is revoked due to "suspicious activity" (actually just a small glitch) and I'm now stuck at limited access.

Maybe u didn't activate your card for online transaction so got rejected. U can call the bank to let them get a solution for u.

Under the limitation it got tell u submit necessary info to them. Do it and it will be removed. If not then email them, they'll usually reply in one or two days time.

Safe of course.. But make sure you keep well your delivery receipt and maybe a picture of the parcel with the receipt before sending out, just to make sure in case he launch a dispute against you.

I used paypal to try to purchase from timberland.com (usa).

Timberland normally accepts Paypal, but apparently if the paypal account has a billing address (for the registered credit card) in Malaysia, Timberland will not process the order.

This is something i certainly have not heard of. I thought the idea of using Paypal is so that buyers would not have to reveal credit details. So merchants will charge Paypal and in turn Paypal will bill your credit card. Apparent this is not the case. According to Timberland, they will be able to match your entered billing address with the address stored on Paypal. Problem is Timberland will not allow you to enter a malaysian billing address.
See the problem

sigh..

Merchants can choose to ship only to confirmed addresses on paypal, which means the billing address and the shipping address on paypal must be the same. This 'security feature' has long been around as a protection to the merchants to avoid frauds.

It means they doesn't ship to Malaysia. You might need to contact them to do the trade by sending money directly to their Paypal account instead of paying off in their website since that's the case.

I usually did like that after discussing with the salesperson through email.

Yes true. But many merchants will also ship to alternate address (gifts for others) and so billing and shipping address need not be the same. I guess my point was some merchants will not accept Paypal with malaysia-issued credit cards - same problem as in the old days when Paypal wasn't around yet and some US merchants will not process cards issued in foreign countries.

Timberland US does not ship outside of Continental USA. So i used a freight forwarder VPOST. In my case, it wasn't a shipping issue. It was because the CC registered with Paypal had a malaysian billing address.
Thanks for the suggestion on using paypal cash - i need to check with them.

They set it up not to accept funds from buyers outside of US in their website, but you're still able to pay them direct to their Paypal account.

You could try email them first before using Vpost. As I have also encounter a few website with the same problem as yours. But when emailed them, they say they do ship to Malaysia even though their website stated only to US continents.

This 'security feature' is entirely up to the merchant whether they want it or not, in this case Timberland is one of them. There are many well known online stores that practices this policy as well.

This feature is not meant to prevent you from using a non-US issued card per se. As I said, this feature's main use is to prevent fraud, eg in the event someone has access to your paypal account to buy stuff and then shipping it to the thief's address instead. Without this feature, the transaction would have been successful. This is being used within the US itself. Of course, the merchant can choose to be lenient on alternate shipping address, but again it depends on the merchant.

Don't be surprise if merchants that accept international orders, checked to see if your address is listed in your paypal account as well before shipping.

Another thing you might need to check is if they ship to mail forwarders like VPOST. SOME merchants that don't ship overseas won't ship to mail forwarders as well. Even if you try to keep quiet about it, they will know the address belonged to VPOST.

Haven't tried this web before. But as I mention before, you can't pay on their website but you can pay to their sales agent Paypal account if you email and ask them. It's merely a preference set by the seller. You can do that too in your Paypal account. Source: http://reviews.ebay.com/PayPal-Accepting-p...000000004223522

Certainly if you have money, they will surely find a way to accept payment from you since it is business to them. Again, you might not able to pay through their website BUT you still can pay directly to their Paypal account in which they will provide you another Paypal email that could accept funds from Non-US registered users.

You need to wait a few days before it appeared it the bank statement. It is not immediate. Try wait for a day or two more.

hello, im new to paypal.
i have a question about getting my acc verified with my debit card.
paypal already charged me $ but where can i find the statement?
tried to go to ATM machine, shows nothing about paypal there.
pbebank also show nothing about paypal.
im using public bank debit card.
i try to verify the card yesterday. 2march.

Added on March 3, 2012, 7:56 pmand why does pbebank show that i have 'Hold amount=$$$'
example:
Available Balance : rm135.40
Current Balance : rm250.00 <--this is my real balance since i just apply account and the card.(debit card)
Hold Amount : rm113.60

i bought something. total (not including paypal charge rm10) : rm95.
if total all, including paypal charge = rm135.40.
i dont know they charge what else. but thats the only thing i bought. rm95.
