Public D2D doesn't have a statement, it's just a normal ATM/debit card.
unlike PB VE, it has statement and you can also register online banking.
anyone how, for those who wants to use paypal with any bank's debit card and you don't have any savings account with them. The best is to register for online banking the moment you get your card. =)

It's just another Co-branded debit card. You can use it to verify your paypal account =)

within 3-5 working days usually..

If you have a balance in your PayPal account, this will actually be the primary source of funds if you go to send money.

For example, if you have $50 balance and go to send a $75 payment, PayPal will use the $50 balance first, then pull the other $25 from your bank account or credit card - whichever funding source you choose.

that's not exactly the case. previously malaysian was banned due to money laundering and fraud issues. Now they've reopened services to malaysian with tighter security measures.

do you often sendfunds to other accounts ? as in selling funds to another users?
keeping a large amount of money in paypal is always not recommended for some reasons.
having funds in account with other purpose of buying from merchants or selling as a merchant but for purpose of selling/buying funds often triggers an alarm to paypal to monitor account.

western union is much more expensive actually...
there's no service charges as u are the buyer
the only charges is the currency conversion

get a debit card , i recommend debit card which is separated from main savings account for better security.. =)

nope... all debit card requires you to open an account =)
anyway, public bank visa electron has an account number by it's own.. not ncessary to open savings account. just the PBVE will do =) been using it for more than 5 years.. gonna renew mine soon.. lol

PBVE is very much recommended...
i've been using this card with paypal since 2001.. no issue at all..
furthermore.. i don't recommend anyone using their ATM+Debit card a/c to link to paypal..

PBVE is an account by it's own.. you only transfer the amount you need into the and used it..

where as for Maybank Debit Card... it's linked direct to your Savings account... imagine someone got hold of your paypal account.. LOL.. say BYE BYE to your money =p

I'm not very sure what's the promo at the moment, the last i heard they have first year waiver or free annual fee for swiping more than RM1.2k in a year...

you can check with them, anyway, the annual fees is just RM24. it's really low =p

if you have a savings account with them it's even better.... easier for u to transfer money in and out from your card to your savings.. =)

there's only a handful of cust care agents for Msia.. =p you'll notice that you'll almost get reply from the same person most the time lol

no need to top up.. just buy straight from the account will do =)

lol.. i got the offer for amex gold also but then i don't wanna use it..
i make prompt payment usually even large amount. amex no min pay but full payment.. probably the reason they offer..

shops that accept amex still a minor in msia. VISA prefered but not the green head.. lol
