Either RM5 per meter or RM1.50 per meter...
Rule of thumb is... if the original is this size, you don't need to get the additional one double the size... same size will do.

But if the ori is using silver coated, then its better to follow...

some time silver colour is just colouring. or lead / timah. not silver.
silver plated cable (SPC) suppose to be much more expensive.
i suggest u get some pure copper cable. it sounds is more natural.

Well, usually, those pioneer or LG or Samsung satellite system use normal copper cables. Size also may be 1.5mm only. So... nothing much to worry. Any cables as long as good soldering job, will give u ok sound.

Firstly, thanks for the complement.

On the CPU DVD... now, try playing your DVD on Windows Media Player and other DVD player software like Power DVD and compare the quality... you will see the difference...

That is why I am solely using a DVD player for DVDs. I got a kinda high end computer but still not using it as my HTPC...

Well, those HDMI DVD players basically will help to upscale you movies to 720p or 1080i. Of course, you will need to use HDMI cables.

If you want to go 1080p, you will need blu ray disc or HDDVD... but for time being, you might not want to invest on such new tech... wait another 3 or 4 years... it will get cheaper.

Right now, 720p is enuff...

I just had a look at your projectors colour uniformity issue. It is a lot worse than the unit that I auditioned, where the cyan and red bars only appeared on the extreme left and right of the screen, about 1.5cm only.

In your case it is visible when watching movies and this is annoying. As such it is serious enough to warrant a replacement or refund. How are you progressing with Panasonic on that front?

Just want to add that I detect some Hot Spotting on your screen, i.e. the center of the picture is a lot brighter than the sides. This is due to the screen material used. I am using a matt white wall, and on very bright scenes like snow or paper/map scene in LOTR, you can just about detect the hotspot.

Elo.
Ya lo... luckily when watching movie, its hardly noticeable. The green andred line is worse than my previous one. Yup... they changed th lens and bulb for me when I sent in last time.

The Tech staff is kinda nice. I have been emailing him and he has been trying to call me on and off. Right now, the machine still with me.

The hot spotting, it is not as bad but heck... sure got le. I am using Black Out Cloth. But when watching movie, you won't notice it a all.

Added on April 28, 2007, 8:55 pmMy machine was sent in last Tuesday. So, I've been without so called TV for the past... 4 days now. Haiz...
Hope they will speed up...
