rclxms.gif I also not 100% trust AV, besides AV, Anti-malware,Anti-Ransomware,Anti-Rootkit, and more and more...
Just depend on one AV is not enough.

Prevention better than a cure.

You have antivirus software and always updating virus database.
MBAM or EAM for second scanner for your computer, or others anti-malware software with real time protection.

Don't simply downloading illegal software from unknown source or malicious website.

Always download software from trusted website, such as from vendor website.
If you doubt your software is unsafely, please upload it on www.virustotal.com for checking.

Do not open any emails with attach any program files, pictures or zip files from the person you don't know unless you trusted that person.

You may purchase any kind security software to protect your PC such as shadow defender or backup software.

If PC spec is high enough, consider VM player or Vbox for opening emails containing suspicious attachment. If VM player or Vbox infected malware, just simply uninstall your OS on Vbox or VM player. (If you know how to use it) It won't effect your real PC (if you not connect real pc and virtual OS). Normally, that for testing malware purpose. (Not 100% guarantee, depends on your behaviour)

If you like more details how to avoid malware, please read related article I posted.
You may visit other forums for seeking the best solution.
