How do you do the OTA update?

any problem with flickering screen and dts sound when playing over mx player or outside kodi?

I tried to do the OTA update and it is stuck with a reboot spinning wheel.

Should I try your steps above?

Will I lose all my favorites in Kodi with the factory reset?

When I backup it doesn't let me choose a backup directory...so it automatically backup to the box itself?

I have backup and done the hard reset.

Do I do OTA update and then restore?

OR restore first then only do the OTA update?

Ota update failed for me. Once I've finished downloading. Press update button then, it restarts and stuck showing error of android robot. After a few minutes, the box restart back with old firmware GT1_103MO

What is the latest firmware version? I tried the hard reset that Khalid21 recommend and the OTA worked after that. Version went from GT1_102MO to  GT1_103MO

Did this yesterday. If you see  GT1_103MO as the version, the OTA succeeded?

I guess the OTA has the be done one version at a time. i was on GT1_102MO and the first update took me to GT1_103MO.  I just did another OTA and it is now GT1_104MO

guys, i've read thru all your story sharings here and notice GT1 has quite a bit of problems here and there? I'm now deciding to buy either GT1 and MiBOX3 pro.. Is there any chance that Mibox will be more stable than GT1?
