anyone know if there is any firework tonite at eye on malaysia ? planning to go for some photo shoot with my colleagues. Some of the gear that we will be bringing there, canon 400D, nikon D50, nikon D70s, nikon D80. Anyone wanted to join is also welcomed.

well..i didnt hear anymore fireworks for this few days..maybe they no more money to shoot anything anymore there..haha

best bet is to go on weekends..but the people and the jam are like hell when weekends.

i know the fireworks has been extended to feb, but not sure which day got. tongue.gif

shutter speed too slow to freeze, to fast for nice motion biggrin.gif

GOD give a light as a path to enlighten all the angles arrive at Malaysia and look on THE EYE ON MALAYSIA...haha...Malaysia Boleh...

good? sweat.gif no la..those r shoot on the grand opening..i missed all the firework..so just stop by at midnight and shoot some only...haha...all handheld no tripod at all....shutter even as low as 1/4s.

1.3 seconds, ISO1600, 70mm F5.6 zoomed out to 18mm and back to about 35mm.

I discovered by accident that the lights on the Eye Of Malaysia were neon lights! (Neon lights flicker like this with motion blur.) I counted the number of flickers in a 1/4th of a second exposure - 25 flickers, meaning 100 flickers per second or 100 Hertz.
