Last time I stayed at Ibis budget Whitechapel in East end, near Liverpool street station. Very good location if you fly in and out via Stansted.
All my recent experiences with London tells me that if just for a few days, select hotel based on airport transfer location.

Can get EE in heathrow airpor... convenient store or magazine store has. Plenty to choose.
I was able to use EE in england, norway and iceland without a single problem.

Highly recommended.

If you plan to stay ard Oxford Circus area, Point A Hotel (aka Tune Hotel) might be a good choice, 2 tube station & walking distance to Oxford Circus & SOHO area.

I stayed in a standard room, 2 pax with 2 big luggages, limited space to move ard in the room
If need to fit in another kid, the room definitely is too small

hi all, i'm going to london to attend a wedding ceremony this september, after that i have about 24 days free and easy, plz suggest me an itinerary... but i have to return to london after 24 days for another business related meeting...then fly back to KUL.

not my first trip to eu, but i have only been to london, paris, holland, berlin and oslo... but i rarely travel to several eu countries in a single trip due to tight business schedule, now i have 24 days, plz suggest me some creative itinerary

on my mind was,

route 1: london > paris (3d) > brussel (1d) > amsterdam (3d) > frankfurt (3d) > zurich (5d) > milan (3d) > rome (3d) then probably fly back to london from rome... (not sure should add in istanbul as well)

route 2: london > paris (3d) > cannes, monaco (3d) >barcelona (4d) > madrid (3d) > lisbon (4d) > morroco/rabat (4d) then fly back to london from rabat..

which route is more fun you think?

I have no particular interest in which country to see, I just want to makesure i have 24 days of fun!

Uk also have flight to Iceland directly, but whale watching might be a bit difficult as the weather is colder and whale will surface less
