 dell 14r (5421) compatible with ddr3l ram or not?

question is that Dell 14r (5421) compatible with ddr3l ram or not?
if laptop support ddr3l type, can i buy one stick 8gb ddr3l for install to my laptop, even my laptop got two slot....or its only support ( 2 x 4gb ddr3l ) ???
if not support, same question need 2 x 4gb or just buy one stick 8gb enough?

Based on internet source, Dell 14r (5421) max Total RAM amount is 8GB. So you can use 1 x 8GB or 2 X 4GB stick. You should double confirm this information from manual in your Dell laptop app.

Sorry, i double check and found out your probably max slot is 4GB + 4GB = 8 GB. 1 x 8 GB stick probably won't be detected by system. And it doesn't support DDR3L.

DDR L is capable 1.35v.... it will work on 1.5v also...
i have mix DDR and DDR L on my dell optiplex AIO

seriously work properly? i gonna try ddr3l if my laptop only support 2 x4gb... i will buy one and try it....
what intel generation on your laptop? i want check it out... but your (AIO) is very different with my dell (laptop) 3rd generation...

not difficult to find…most of shop still sell it…if can bring along laptop to shop n ask technician to install n test it…

last week survey and saw a lot shop selling low voltage RAM and they like you buy before test@@cant get a test... like that if buy wrong sure cost... bangwall.gif

optiplex 9010 AIO is running intel 3rd generation.... i7-3770s cpu
it use SODIMM RAM (same as laptop ram)
if not mistaken the mix ram inside the pc about 2-3 already. tested working fine and passed memtest after ram installation.
but both ram is from dell computer (dell certified ram) not purchased from the shop.
