what i think EPF is doing by buying proton shares are right thing to do, proton shares are dropping and when the new shareholders are announced, by right the shares price for proton will go up and at that time EPF should sell the share to make profit......hope EPF is doing this and not helping out Proton.

It isn't that bad a strategy when the forecast is that proton will be sold over and opened to a foreign partner with the June Free Trade Act, so i guess the EPF is doing a bit of a gamble and buying while it's low predicting it'll go up in the near term.
