Anyone got a warning before?
And if got how long is the temporary warning to wear off or is it going to be permanent?

I lost my cool today, fought with some kid and some vulgarities splurted out. He said he's going to report yada yada. I'm preparing for the worse.

My friend got a month's suspension. I dont think it would warrant an account ban so suspension more likely.

Lol, don't over exaggerate dude. After 3 times warning you will get anything from a 3-day to a month suspension. But repeat offense(s) may lead to a permanent account ban. So one word of advice, don't ever be the first to start.

lilzany thanks for the more understanding part of the warning.
So this is my first warning, if I get another 2 more then it'll be a 3-day suspension huh.

Does the warning ever go away if I did not commit any further offense, or does it goes into my record for permanent?

What was the warning? For game or forums?

Forums : pretty strict guidelines. Even using Caps in title puts u on suspension but usually one week.

Game : A lot of ppl in recent months and weeks had account suspension due to "suspicious behaviour" i.e. botting or hacking. Think it was 1-month. What was in your letter?

Blues must be using a program to check. You're not the only one that has this problem. Other users too.

Clean slate : Maybe not. Push them hard enough, then maybe. Not easy I'm sure.

Blues also take bot reports seriously. If someone maliciously sents in one about you, then oh-oh. Telling noobs off in-game can sometimes lead to that.

Depends on how badly you behaved. If you splewed racial epithets, say bye bye to your account now. If its just a minor flare up with the usual F-Us and stuff, maybe a couple of days suspension.

Try not to lose your cool online - don't let some mentally-challenged jerk get you kicked off the account you spent years building. With so many millions of accounts Blizzard would not hesitate to kick people who infract on their Terms of Service.

My wall next to my workstation has lots of marks from my fists which helps as a release of rage. It helped - zero warnings in 2 years of gameplay and I consider myself a pretty hot tempered guy (as my mouse and keyboard can testify). I've mellowed a bit with age though smile.gif

the dangerous bit about playing with WoW is that you're playing with adults.

children will swear and insult you verbally. then forget about it the next moment.

adults will look for ways to get you permanently banned or black record.

There is another way for you if people are making you mad. Just think of possible way to counter their actions. You can just put a "wall" against terrible attitude players too.

Btw, my account was suspended pending investigations cause Blizzard suspected me of being a gold buyer. Blizzard never checked my account, its just that when they were asked to restore my hacked and deleted account that leads to this. I didn't buy any gold, I farmed all of them as I was a boring lvl 60 with nothing to do but hunting world epics for a long time. My motivation is to see the gold rising. It would be so much easier if they think I'm a gold farmer and I can dispute that easily with all tier 2 epics but its funny that they would say otherwise.

Write a letter to them and prove that your actually gold farming.
I don't believe out of 5million over players they suspect you because of buying gold.

Wouldn't worry about it, i said to 1 guy "Shut up you rude C*nt, and Fcuk off outta my face" after he kicked me b4 a boss fight because i asked him (The tank) to wear his shield :/

Got an email from blizz. All it said was, recieved complaint , then it quotes your text (From log i assume) was the exact wording i used, and told me not to do it again lol.

It has become quite well known in our server that those who raid actually buys gold. So I am in pretty tough luck. They said they are going to check some logs but the only people that can help me is my guildies right now.
