I know a few of us has been getting this type of ads that can't be exited off except by closing the tab it is using. Anybody got way around it? Using HTC 10 and Chrome Browser.

No I poorfag can't cough up another 1k for iPong.

stop app,
clear data

restart phone

sigh.. i use chrome too. didnt get the pop up. felt so left out.. sigh.

Is there a good browser with built in pop up blocker for mobile? I customise the heck out of my desktop so no ads at all, but mobile is rather stock. Even more than a few misclicks due to fat finger syndrome.

Cos I have this apps installed in all my phones.

I browserd /k just now with tab and chrome, no pop up msg.

I would suggest everyone to report in the thread under the forum feedback section..quite a number of user are affected by it..clearing cache,reseting ad id even reinstalling browser doesnt work..some user using new phone is facing this problem as well..

It appears randomly. But I'll keep it in mind to PM you if ever I kena this again. After refreshing the tab, it'll just keep coming back even if I go back to previous before the ad it would just keep appearing over and over not allowing me to do anything within that tab. By revisiting that thread in a new tab, this spam-ad doesn't appear.

Yeah it appears randomly. I can't seem to recreate it by visiting the "affected" thread. Could be Google's AdSense network? Looking around, many users that kena this spam-ad seems to be using a new phone or recently reformatted phone.

aware of the issue and it is from some ads on the google ad network. We have blocked a number of these malicious ads, but if you're still facing the pop ups, please paste the topic/thread link which it appears at.

We have isolated it down to the android devices, using the mobile view. We have notificed Google as well and hopefully they will be able to block these ads on a global scale as they ads are coming from multiple accounts/domains.

its very random n only affecting certain pages of a thread, for example i go to this thread, page 1 no problem, then go page 2 the spam starts to appear, clicking back or reload or watever button wont work, hav to close the tab n reload /k again, but when i go to page 1 of the thread its ok, then go to page 2 again n same problem happen again

only happen to HP , using Pc browsers everything ok
