I can confirm, only need to convert within a year after you get your PR.

Was stopped by police for rego issues, showed them my msian dl(was still on my 457 visa), didnt have any problems.

As long as your visa is temporary, they can't force you to take aus DL.

Only have problems with the stop sign.

Always have to resist the urge to not stop when I can see there are no cars in sight.

It is very counter-intuitive to driving sweat.gif
