As per the title, has the train stop plying Malaysia --> Thailand route?
Not sure if it is temporary (say, due to track maintenance), or has it stop permanently?
No More Train from Malaysia to Thailand?, Could not find it in the KTM website

Malaysia Train only can reach Padang Besar Border Station. Used ETS Train
From there onwards are Thai Operated Train. You have to buy Thai Train ticket after you clear Thailand border. To Hatyai , Hua Hin , Bangkok There are only one train leaving Padang Besar to Hatyai , Hua Hin , Bangkok at 17:50 http://www.railway.co.th/checktime/checkti...sp?lenguage=Eng This post has been edited by RegentCid: Aug 29 2016, 10:05 AM |

taking a bus is another option to consider |

QUOTE(elm0001 @ Sep 2 2016, 03:27 PM) Nearly Impossible. It got 1st class , 2nd class to 3rd class. Most people are taking 2nd class aircorn coach at night will transfer to bed. (famous thing on Thai train) If you really that unlucky then get ur self 3rd class. Wooden seat , no aircorn. Sure got seat. Or else take Express Bus |
