without snares i think tau is pretty useless lor
they dont have turrets or mines to defend their base =(
but true oso ler how snare works pretty imba
i think 35 power is alright cause tau needs alot of power for tier2
the cooldown is imba
and they should cut the duration by half for commander armored units(like warcraft the slow ability slows units for 40 secs but 13.3333 (1 third of all spells) for heroes.
and snares are not suppose to slow tanks thats all =p

u using tau ar gF?

i dont think micro plays a big role in dow try 2 concentrate more on macro, the units u make, the position you stand are both important in a battle.. if lets say some melee units are chasing ur range units for example, tau's Fire warrior which sucks in melee click on that group n right click+shift for way point around the battle till they stopped chasing then start firing simple way 2 handle ur battle..

Added on May 14, 2007, 3:10 pmif chaos play raptors then dont reinforce ur FW make 3 groups, the chances of winning the battle is easier since they only can chase a group and allows the other 2 attack
if asm then use ur tau commander and jump in to range to use the flame thrower and break their morale use snare frequent in battles cause imba is the key of victory!!!

if they mass units then make skyray lorr xD drones are effective against chaos xD
