i like to see this too. wt current system and players we got wide area probably best to play rooney as our wide player also more like forward left/right than normal winger.

everywhere the story bout rooney bench and united win comfortably but key absent for me is fellaini. fellaini been good defensively but the role he play its like having extra defender and lesser midfield man. herrera gave more and playing like CM how it should be. finally we are more in control in central mid area. him partner pogba is a better choice.

mata also looking good playing no 10 role in leicester game. he deserve more chance playing in this formation. rooney should be deploy at wide in future playing in lingard place.

herrera start as CM alongside pogba. both quite mobile on 1st half up and down. only 2nd half when leicester change formation to 4141 tighter wt no winger herrera play much deeper like DM. still he quite mobile something fellaini didnt offer as much. can see this by looking at herrera statistic pass. when carrick came he back to CM wt carrick playing deep lying playmaker role

herrera got pick ahead of fellaini probably coz of leicester formation 442 and it certainly work

now he hv shown he deserve more chance. really hope to see more of herrera this season

mis kick turns to assist.. but yeah why need to bash him upside down

Disappointing wt the approach. this is liverpool we should always play to win. this aint united way. quite obvious we play not to lose on 2nd half. most of the time united playing behind the ball and just let liverpool attack. when we got the ball just pass to quickly pogba and zlatan but no support. subs also came late

heard the commentator said we got our worst possession in PL era for this ones

CL is different esp knock off stage as many team also target to win at home and not to lose away. PL is a race esp wt so much more matches to be play we should be more adventurous. it aint matter of 2nd best more of intention to win the match. over the years probably as long i can remember watching liverpool vs united both side always try to win whether its good win or ugly one doesnt matter. this time quite obvious we play not to lose. even on counter it seem only pogba given the freedom to run forward wt wide player rashford,young still restricted not to go too forward

dont like this kind of direction specifically toward liverpool vs united matches. not in general

cautious is fine but not negative style. if aint for DDG class save we could hv lost a point

the early goal destroy united gameplan. defensive error cost united while chelsea very clinical this time. smalling offday no doubt. i think he suffer from the early goal. not captain material for me but he is a good CB

smalling were good last season.. candidate for united best player. chelsea game probably the worst from him but he should stay. no need to bring SAF name as dont think theres any case SAF rated him or not.

Mata should start. stats shown united got 13/15 point when he start and just 1 from possible 12 when he didnt start. he probably the most creative player united got now as micki also didnt play

like to see carrick play too. he will bring stability and composure to the center midfield area. something fellaini,pogba,herrera cant offer. always think he should play alongside pogba as he can be good feeder to him
