QUOTE(zhou.xingxing @ Sep 1 2016, 12:23 AM) Paul Pogba may have cost Manchester United a small fortune, but the French midfielder has already started repaying his ginormous fee after it was revealed his shirt sales have reached £190 million in just three weeks. the one who get the money is adidas. not man utd. i read somewhere 80-90% of shirt sales goes to the maker (for our case: adidas). As one of Adidas’ main sponsored athletes, the German sportswear company invest most of their marketing and advertising budgets into the 23-year-old, and it seems to be paid off in spades. this is purely on shirt sales la. but on other front i dont know la. |

So, our prediction are correct.
Mou only keeping 3 youths from Moyes and LVG era, Lingard, Rashford and Fosu-Mensah! Ohh.. and Sam Johnstone. He shipped out 16 youths!! Paddy McNair (£5m, Sunderland) Donald Love (£1m, Sunderland) Will Keane (£1m, Hull) Tyler Reid (undisclosed, Swansea) Tyler Blackett (undisclosed, Reading) James Weir (undisclosed, Hull) Ashley Fletcher (free, West Ham) Oliver Rathbone (free, Rochdale) Joe Rothwell (free, Oxford) Nick Powell (free, Wigan) George Dorrington (free, Huddersfield Town) Cameron Borthwick-Jones (loan, Wolves) Guillermo Varela (loan, Eintracht Frankfurt) James Wilson (loan, Derby) Andreas Pereira (loan, Granada) Adnan Januzaj (loan, Sunderland) Hope Janu, Pereira and Borthwick-Jones can come back to be first teamers next season!! As for Tuanzebe, I consider him as Mou's youth!! Hope we can have more coming up!! |

Nick Powell, I admit, was hoping he will have a big part to play for Utd after his debut goal vs Wigan.
But the lad never settled down, and was once touted as the next Scholes. Heard issue of lack of commitment and attitude problem stalled his career. |

QUOTE(max_cavalera @ Sep 1 2016, 10:37 AM) Lol mou have a horrible record with promoting youth unless they have proven themselves they are better than the current 1st 11. In actual fact, SAF is also the same. He does promote youth to play for a few matches, carling cups or those that are not important. And then, at the end of the season, he will sell them off. Only retain 1 or 2 that is consider good. But in sacrifice of that, you guys will enjoy a rapid achievement of trophies due to his ruthless style Of course, Class of 92 is a special and unique case. Doubt that it will happen again in current football world. So, I am ok with Mou selling off the Youths that he is not using. Just make sure he give them chances to show if they are good in few matches in a season, then, he can decide whether they make the cut. |

QUOTE(onepack @ Sep 1 2016, 11:18 AM) SAF never want to sell pogba.. he just wasnt ready to give him 1st team football yet and contract as demand by pogba/mino Pogba also not willing to wait anymore. If SAF don't think he deserve to play ahead of a CM duet of Rafael and PJS, SAF clearly don't rate him enough. |
