Too tired to comment last night. But 1 thing for sure, im done being too positive like last season. Lets rectify the problem asap.

First, we lack of creativity. Oscar at it again and we need a maestro. The only maestro in our current squad is cesc fabregas. So i vote oscar out fab in. Dont ever think bench fab is a good idea coz its not and how many season more we need to see "creative" oscar. But oscar can contribute one thing which is..

Second, defense. Yes oscar can defense. But it will be vice versa on the overall squad performance which is no creativity. To put in fab is to put out oscar/matic. To do that we need to fix our damn defense. So i hope zouma to get well soon and luiz to get ready fast.

Third, if our defense are fix but conte still bench fab, we will be getting kdb 2.0 and from what i know, letting kdb himself go is really a big lost.

Yes we cant put in fab because it will create a hole. But dont expect to have creativity orgasm if we put in oscar. So, last night game can easily be our weaknesses and other managers will use this to counter us more to come that is for sure. Last but not least, draw is better than lose and remember, we still at building stages. Conte done a great job so far despite we draw because he manage to glue most of the team in less than half season

i do agree that matic+kante combo seems to defensive but we need to be wary as well on our defensive frailty, hence matic+kante makes perfect sense. unfortunately this combo also flawed in terms of creativity and our reliance on hazard, oscar , willian/pedro.

lets see if JT unavailable against pool and who would conte field for CB and for DM. im rooting for luiz and fab but i got the feeling we will see matic again until he feels our defensive unit is ready for it.
