actually i was worried bout this match. Coz if I recall correctly, Burnley won against Pool. But after watchin first half performance. I feel so convinced by the team.

btw i have Heaton in goal for FPL. altho conceded 3, but he made a lot of saves, lol.

Notice that Matic is playing slightly on the left in the 4141 formation. Obviously Conte trying to provide more cover to JT. Matic, Kante n Oscar this combo is playing coz they contribute a lot in defending. Matic n Oscar will hassle the opponent when they have possession. 3 of them can cover the aging JT. I think when Zouma is back, Zouma will partner JT, Zouma can cover JT with his pace, then we will see Fab getting his starting 11 spot back.

Hazard, Fab and Costa. These 3 players is super important to us imo. They are the only ones who can take the game at the scruff of the neck for the team.

Hazard can provide a moment of brilliant dribbling and shots. Fab can provide the game winning thru ball or high ball to Costa. Costa will fight til the very end and hassle the defenders.

really really hope Conte has convinced Fab to stay, and really hope Fab understand why he is not starting now. Not that he is not good, but the team nid some cover in defense.

Conte is gud in covering slow defenders. Like last time Juve, he had Chiellini, Bonucci and Barzagli in CB. all not the quickest, but Conte used box to box midfielders like Marchisio and Vidal to cover them. That time xde lagi Pogba. haha. For us, Oscar and Matic is like Marchisio and Vidal. In comparison, Matic n Oscar is not at their lvl yet, but I believe Conte can bring out the best in Matic.

i think is blessing in disguise. haha. Rmb Nainggolan? We wanted him at first, offered 40M I think, Roma wanted more, lucky we didn't meet the demand and go for Kante instead.

same thinking here, how will James fit into the team. He is more like a winger or creative playmaker right.

Mixed feeling for Luiz's return. I like his personality. Gud to have in a team. But i'm still sceptical on his defending. Haha. Lets see how it goes.

If he is 4th choice bhind JT, Cahill n Zouma then i'm ok. If he id ahead of Zouma n Cahill, i shake head.

Lets hope Conte can turn Luiz into a Bonucci. Strong tackle + able to play fab like pass to forward

let's hope he picked up a lot from partnering T.Silva all this while in PSG.

hi guys! long time no c! lol. Last 3 matches didn watch live, juz watch MOTD highlights. Busy with work too recetntly.

Was chatting in whatsapp group on Chelsea, and d more i talk bout it, the more furious i am. Can Conte please drop Cahill? I know he is the 2nd most senior CB after JT. But come one. Against Pool he lost possession and conceded a goal (replay shows that he was fouled), but he never learn his lesson, against Arsenal, again he took his sweet time without noticing Sanchez, again he conceded the goal.

It's quite obvious now, our CB are tooooo slow and toooo confident. JT is not getting any younger, Cahill ain't no JT replacement (slow CB), Luiz still not convince with him. Can Conte be bold enough to play Zouma + Chalobah in CB?

There were already so many signs that our backline is aging and getting slower n slower. The season that we won the league, after that, we needed reinforcement. No reinforcement, other 19 teams found a way to play against us, and our defense continue to age. Until now, defense problem not solved.

Alonso and Luiz? Exactly the players that we always sign. Players that seems to be good enough to be in starting 11, but are not. The only decent signing so far is Kante.

And Matic, hmmmm. I seriously duno what happened to him. The season that we won PL, he was bossing the midfield. Next season suddenly no form at all. I guess teams found out a way to play against him. Plus, no players to compete with him in that position, no box to box midfielder. This season shud be a new chance for him, but he is not taking it, somehow feel like Conte changed Matic's style of play.

Batshuayi JUST CAN't GO ON LOAN. Conte really believe in Costa so much? His style of game is always on the edge, easy to get sent off. Batshuayi have to cover for Costa. I know Batsman is young and promising, maybe he wants game time, but come on, stay with us, push urself and push Costa!

As for Courtois..... youngsters nowadays.... juz can say not grateful, he is playing for 1 of the top club. Be content la. Chelsea is not at it's highest point now, if the player can't live through the bad times with Chelsea, he don't deserve to live through the good times that Chelsea has. Look at Drog, Lamps, JT and Cech. Fight til they die, even if team is trailing, all able to drag a game by it's neck.

let's see if Conte or the board can convince Batsman to stay. We really need his quality when Costa is not on form. I know Costa now is on form with 6 goal in PL, but I know he will get suspended at some point of the season. lol.

Mou knows how we play, but hey, it's 343 and it's Conte. Don't think Mou face this formation and Conte enough time to break it down.

Pretty confident we can get a result against Utd. Hopefully a 2-0 win. I think Mou's tactic would be using Lingard and Martial's pace to exploit our backline, and that's bout it.

Hope Costa can really focus on proving Mou wrong and score a brace.
