as the topic goes those who uses Garageband to compose thier music do kindly share it here laugh.gif

since i'm the threadstarter i will upload my song that i compose using Garageband.
Lately i have been toying with the Mac GarageBand and compose my own songs using thier build-in instruments.

Please give some Comments

i like garageband but i find it limited without the keyboard.

smile.gif i don't like being limited to 1 octave.

Mostly I use to do PodCast... never tried record the tracks and loops.

hey guys...im considering getting a MBP, so wanna find out more...

is it easy to use garageband?? i read b4 that can connect instruments like electric guitar and stuff, can it be done without additional accesories coz if im not mistaken have to buy an add on rite??please advice...really would love to record my own compositions...

sory for not researching...currently no internet, using frens comp to check emails and reply to lowyat...

Sure, you can connect your instrument with your Mac. Of course you need an amplifier for guitar and mixer for drums and stuffs.

It depends on your equipment. How do u transmit audio/data out from your guitar or keyboard. U probably need a converter... There's no MIDI connector on MBP

For an electric guitar, all you need is a 1/4" to 1/8" converter plug. Assuming you have an audio-in socket in your Mac. This gives you a mono input. If you do not have audio-in on your mac, you need a usb converter - a USB Audio Interface unit.

Recently I bought a USB Converter guitar plug that allows stereo in.

It's easy to connect your electric guitar to your Mac and use it in Garageband. Of course, you can also work it with other programs like Guitar Rig.

what are your settings for recording clear music? like they have adjuster for you to adjust how high or low you level is right? are there any default setup?
