You mean the replacement? If so, didn't hear that SME is providing spare phone (though some other countries are doing this)

If you mean due to the bootloop / random freeze issue, some users here do get a whole new phone

even if u take it back also no use, as later u need to send in again

would suggest u leave it there and wait for the replacement

i think the replacement will take place as of the same time...but not sure yet...

however, back to the point...u take back the phone...not likely u can use it right? since the reason u sent in is the bootloop issue..why don't just leave it there?

Is anyone here that have sent in their phone into for bootloop issue before the recall announcement ?
I sent in mine on 30th. I called them they say most probably I need to wait till the recall process start only I can get my phone and they are not going to repair it since the parts are also got recalled. That means I am phone less for maybe 1 month ?

I sent mine in on Aug 31 due to bootloop issues, followed up by a phone call the following day wherein I got a call the same day telling me that I could collect my replacement on 2 Sep (I sounded angry).  Meanwhile, with the news on the battery problems, I repeatedly called them to clarify if I should even come in for a replacement but the service center said there was no official announcement yet.  Come Saturday (3 Sep), I collected my replacement and asked the service center rep but she was no help and was unable to confirm whether my replacement was safe or not.  When I got home, I called the 1800 number and they took down my details, sans IMEI and the rep said the marketing team are in a meeting but would call me shortly.  They must be in one of the longest meetings because I still haven't received a call... meanwhile, like all of you here, I'm in a dilemma - should I spend time migrating / setting up / wasting another SP my new Note 7 or wait? A phone in hand is as good as none...

Any phone now on par or better than note 7 in terms of display, graphics, gaming performance, camera etc?

Might be letting go one of my note 7 after replacement if there are such phone.

Just went to Samsung KLCC, they said just send phone only will do. No need fullset. This is good news for me as I'm keeping the box

I went there, the SA just ask me to fill in my particulars and didn't offer any courtesy phone nor ask to return the phone.  Asked if it's safe to use and dare not say anything but just make sure don't charge overnight...  And, there is no clear instructions from HQ it seems.

I wonder what is what now...  It only makes us more confused without any concrete information on what should we do about it or do they really want to wait until first incident in Malaysia?  This is really bad...
