update the AOD in galaxy apps, is more responsive to double tab on the notification now.
btw, my unit also from 04/8 , so far running good and battery SOT 7hrs+. Didnt use samsung many years, altho touchwiz has huge improvement still not super fluid

i just realized that the wireless charger connected requires micro  usb instead of type c, and its not bundled with right? kindly enlighten me if wrong? no wonder some users complained that the charging speed is slow with 3rd party cable.

the fingerprint sensor is not very stable...

yesterday, totally cannot work and i had to use pin/ iris to unlock phone and then restart.

just a few mins back, i saw a notification/ message saying the fingerprint sensor is not responding.

i'm on the latest firmware. i guess Samsung still got a lot of work to do. i just hope they dun ignore it.

i guess basically there are few type of battery stat so for i saw
2-3h SOT
4-5h SOT
6-8h SOT

is it because of different batch?
mine at first only can 2-3h sot, but i use aggresive doze and PDP so it can 4-5h SOT
is saw many daigor here like normal use also can 6-8h SOT??

i dn instal much apps also, wechat, whatapps, facebook, messenger, and some google apps only

Bringing it to court cost a lot of money. Big companies can drive the plantiff out of money by playing the dragging game and delay the court. This is how some of the malaysian businessmen make money and be rich. To steal from others and nothing they could do about it.

what "typical"? while we're all grateful Samsung is doing this total recall, it's also because this recall can potentially be fatal.. imagine burning down house, etc..

some ppl don't live next to SC. some are out of town and this exchange is actually making then have to travel extra.

while I won't say SME should compensate, but if they do, I think it helps make things better for all. costumers are happy. and happy customers is always good.

earlier I did suggest some form of compensation that don't really "cost a lot" like:
* free second year warranty. fact is, most of the time, the hardware is still good in year two sms not many will claim. they only lose extra revenue from sales of warranty.
* let customers keep accessories.. well, some stuff like ear buds don't really get refurbished, so, might as well let ppl keep it. maybe cables and adaptors too..
* SP.. well.. this one do cost them to lose some money. but if Samsung is producing it, fact is.. the cost is like s few cents only. having said that, if they don't give also I'd still buy new ones.
the using phone naked part.. I believe it's more to those who use a case but now intentionally use without.
