The case-ready version for Clear Coating is available @ Sunway Pyramid now.

Just switched mine from clear to matte, to be honest, the difference isn't that big. Obvious when the background is white color.

Currently using UAG casing, maybe because i was rushing to use the casing, the side there didn't attach nicely and attracted a lot of dust after i put into my pocket.

However, the corners are all fine no major lift up issue (only a slight lifting, just push it back will do)

Will go and redo the coating few days later, will update again

I used both Clear and Matte type

Clear - it feels very filmsy at the first few days, need to change the s-pen tip to the grey color to ensure smoothness, tend to have dents on the film if something pushed on it too hard.

Matte - very smooth touching, not attracting fingerprints/smudge, down side is need to sacrifice the screen's clarity a bit

If it really covers the screen from any potential scratches, why not?

let me guess..u sent in the phone with the coating and the technician removed the coating for u?

dude...u can actually remove the film urself...and stick them on a piece of paper...then send it back to the coating shop to claim ur warranty ><"

the shop will only do their part if the receipt and film are returned together

Yea, facing the same issue :/ the UAG casing eats into the phone's perimeter deeper than others...

currently using the case-ready version for the Matte type, corners all no big issue...though, it might lift up a little over time...not sure is it cause of the dust i attracted due to using the phone too soon after applying the coating...

full coverage SP can try original samsung SP, but doesn't really fit well with casing

or u can check out the Clear Coating / Mobile Outfitter (same company though) for their service

they do full coating for phones and reviews are quite good

2 types of film available:

- Clear : RM 160
- Matte : RM 200

before send in ur phone, peel off the coating and stick them on a piece of paper...or if u worry, take it back to the shop and ask them peel everything off and put on their warranty sheet...later on take the warranty sheet with u

send in ur phone for repair and then take the phone, warranty sheet (with the film on), and receipt back to the coating shop

they will replace 1 to 1 for free.

If you have applied matte SP before, it is exactly the same

it will only be very obvious when ur background is white

but for normal use, honestly makes no difference

i think software issue, need to wait them release fix

that is why i said, better go back to the coating shop first and ask them peel off everything, put it on a piece of paper and give back to u...

the next time u go, they will replace it for free.

If u think another way around, it makes sense also...launching it early, got all these bugs then got time to fix

and upon all launching, will definitely have issue 1...the testing done by manufacturer itself will never be sufficient as they might have prejudice.

as for the screen crack...using UAG casing now...which is quite protective i would say...so not much worry

have u tried using the samsung galaxy app or something? apparently it is like a playstore for samsung

if cannot, try uninstall the app and install from google playstore again

As some people (who are not forumers) can be facing the same issue, just saw an aunty sent in her Note 7 due to bootloop issue ytd..only Samsung themselves know how many defect units they got.
