Mine 'was' 4th Aug batch..black...

Last Friday 26 Aug...send to SC due to boot-loop after force factory reset (can't recognise my password after restart...after 10th time? It forced to factory reset.. then stucked at the 'recovery' menu..even after reboot)

SC want to replace the motherboard but insist them to replace new one coz fear of not 100% seal...have to wait 1 to 2 weeks.

I just use basic app e.g. whatsapp, telegram..not used the smart switch app..no root..no games...everytime once in a while I'll close/kill any opened app in the background...clear RAM..

Never happen to me before auto restart..hang or freeze..even if i restart...it switch on as usual..need to key in password for first time after restart as one of the security measures..

Then..last friday its happened. After restart...there is no lock screen wallpaper...just ask me to fill in the password...but couldn't verify..after few times tried...it prompt factory reset after reached the try limits. Once factory reset...its stucked at the menu button that normally appear when u want to clear cache n etc.

Reboot thru menu...also same...keep come out to that menu..

Sent to SC lowyat plaza...without telling then, they knew what happened to my device ...hahahha..they told 5 devices have sent to the center bcause to the same problem which is due the motherboard..

Ask them to replace the phone instead of change the motherboard and I'm willing to wait even after 2nd 3rd 4th batch...as long as no more problem to my device...


Never happen to my note 4 before...n7 is really a gorgeous device...no regret upgrade to n7 but wish they could rectify the issue as soon as possible.

I have sent my device bcoz of bootloop on 26th...still not received yet. After called the number and inform them the situation...they update the system to put my service order on hold, which need to wait until the replacement unit come in next 3..4 weeks..
