Li-ion batts are best kept charged occasionally to prolong its lifespan.... Else it would degrade faster overtime.

Oh man, hope u got your replacement unit fast.
Btw, did u perform anything out of the ordinary prior to force factory reset... Like using smart switch app, rooting, etc..?

Ahhh yes, i also agree with u. But i have to use with a case on for daily rough usage. Only once in awhile I'll strip it naked and admire its inner beauty smile.gif

Ask them to replace the phone instead of change the motherboard and I'm willing to wait even after 2nd 3rd 4th batch...as long as no more problem to my device...
Never happen to my note 4  before...n7 is really a gorgeous device...no regret upgrade to n7 but wish they could rectify the issue as soon as possible.

Was just curious if the actions and symptoms are similar to the rest of the guys here. It's a good share for everyone.
Can't imagine if the same happened to me. Sigh. Samsung should really buck up on their QC!!!

Same here. Whole screen was unresponsive. I did not wait for 10 mins though, just less than 3 mins then i had to reboot and all back to normal.
This definitely looks like a software bug waiting to be sorted.

I just tried 2nd time again and the same thing happened, screen just got frozen. Touch buttons are working but the lasso and error window message just lingering there and i can't do anything else...
Waited for about 8 mins and the phone is responsive again. Had to click ok on the pop up error message.

Did u have the same issue with the select lasso tool?
Selecting quickly is ok, but if used slowly for about a min, the lasso selection will suddenly just cut off and screen became unresponsive.

ok, so I was not satisfied with the ori Samsung SP's side lifting issues. I peel it out, used some screen cleaning kit, re-positioned the SP slightly higher and trimmed the top part off. Squeegee-ed it flat especially the curved sides, dry out all the liquid and leave it to 'properly stick' overnight without any case on.

Pop in my case back next day and voila! rclxm9.gif
