Seems like alot of people are seriously disappointed in Note 7 in light of the recent issues.
But for me, it's still one of the best and sexiest HP available now. So will stick to it. Hopefully Samsung will sort things out smoothly.

Is common that people would prefer get full refund regardless the issue , and try other options, unless require the features & spen then one would wait replacement.

QUOTE(zhlo @ Sep 6 2016, 08:20 AM) of coz..they won't just scrap those phone for 1st batch..quantity is so many..sure will repair and just sell it start from 2nd batch.. I believe they will sell as refurbished set. Don't think they would like to tarnish their reputation further by selling brand new in 2nd batch

QUESTIONS: Does anyone know how to set the default download locations for the browsers? Beside pictures, is there any other items you guys store in the SD Card? And it is no longer to possible to install apps in the SD Card right?

QUOTE(sengkin95 @ Sep 6 2016, 12:06 PM) If I was given a choice between full refund or a 1-to-1 exchange, I'll rather go for the 1st option since 2 more days next iPhone is coming right

For you guys who wonder what will Samsung do with those recalled Note 7. Most likely, they will become refurbished phones and then being dumped into the refurbished market. http://www.businesskorea.co.kr/english/new...-market-shelvesNow the potential buyers will have to worry. It's possible that in near future some unethical dealers may sell those refurbished Note 7 as brand new phones. Those refurbished Note 7 sure will be dumped into the market, intentionally or unintentionally. We may end up buying refurbished Note 7 without knowing it. Some of you may say it's impossible lah. Those refurbished phone definitely won't come to Malaysia market lah, etc etc. Well, I won't dare to say it won't happen. The chance is there. So far, most people around the world (mostly America & Europe countries) are prefering for refund rather than 1-1 exchange. They have lost their trust and confidence towards the latest Samsung Flagship. Anyway, there's 1 thing that we are very sure, that Note 7 will be the least profitable Samsung flagship phone in the history. This post has been edited by Max2006: Sep 6 2016, 01:04 PM

Meaning customers may get cheat by unethical dealer.

But to think again, the replaced phone would be more stringent in terms of quality control. Samsung could not afford to make the second mistake. The replaced phone might be more durable than usual. What do you think?

The replaced phone might be more durable than usual. What do you think? You do have a point. However, in real world, how many people are willing to accept "2nd hand" (literally) phones? Even if you may not be able to notice it, but once you are acknowledged that you may have a chance to get a refurbished phone, you may still feel uncomfortable about it, no matter how good the phone is. Not to mention those people who have OCD. They will definitely can't accept this. What I want to say is that, in the past, whenever a new Note came out, people would buy it without any hesitation. But now, people will think twice, or many many times before they buy it. I am not sure about the other potential buyers. But for me, yes. This incident does give me a lot of doubts.... For you guys who pre-ordered it, of course you will have to embrace it (like it or not) since you don't have much choices on this. But for the future buyers, it will be another story to tell....
