Your phone is fine. Just don't use third party type-c cable, as it might not meet the standard and quality for charging the phone.

To be fair, being able to submerge the phone in water (1.5m deep, 30 minutes) is one of the FEATURES of the phone..

Using it without a case or removing the screen protector is perfectly within the rights of the consumer since they bought it themselves and why don't they have the right to use the phone without them?

Nobody's saying they will PURPOSELY smash the phone's display to test the Gorilla Glass 5 or to purposely try to make the battery explode or to do something else which is extreme.

for me, i will go to charge my device multiple times from low % to 100% like what android authorities said..

if the device is hot while charging, go for recall.

if not i will stick with my phone now..

my phone now are working fine perfectly, no bootloop, no spen defect or anything.

so the only concern now is the temperature when charging..

i will monitor few more days coming week, if spike alot, i will go for replace.

and i had given all the details to samsung as well. just wait for the call.

i will see how my note 7 going first..

I am not worried, i am just disappointed that this happened and samsung can't do anything to fix it.
