im on snapdragon version, latest global dev rom. so difficult to unlock the bootloader, used 2 mi account with unlock permission, still hitting the error on mi unlock and stucked at 50% , error "current account info is different.."

check dev option -> mi status, hitting error 10008.. now registered 3rd mi account for unlock approval.

how u guys get unlock the bootloader successfully ?

anyone can so kind borrow me a Mi id to unlock bootloader ? without unlocking it, i cannot restore my old backup from titanium.. : (

i created, with unlock approval, but i couldnt unlock it, its keep showing error 10008 in the phone, and stucked at 50% in the unlocking process.

i searched forums and got people said borrow mi id and unlock it and it worked, so i wondering i can do the same also.

i tried unlock the redmi note 3 and mi5, it just 1 time then gao dim.
this redmi note 4, i spent 24 hours also cannot settled, meanwhile i also applying another new mi id again, long long long process. blush.gif

ended up go to taobao and order df cable.. good job xiaomi

you bind your Mi account via Developer options -> Mi Unlock status -> Add account and device

you need connect vpn from your phone because m'sia isp unable to access well to the china gateway, somewhere blocked, thats the reason you need vpn.

Here you go, beware it is for Snapdragon or 4x only.

RR rom

I'm on AospExtended, the rom seems better without much customization haha.

Drop us feedback here regarding to your experience on RR rom.

you can ask to exchange to snapdragon, as it might be their fault in this case, to give you a wrong version of rn4.
Mi Malaysia never sell mediatek version i think. mediatek is the type of processor for the phone.
