Just received my Redmi Note 4, bought from here http://www.lazada.com.my/import-xiaomi-red...r-13426187.html

Checked the list of installed apps, there're some (presumably) useless apps that I can't uninstall like Whetstone, Yellow Pages, YGPS, and one chinese-titled app with fingerprint icon - I can't uninstall all these apps.

So I plan to do a factory reset and reinstall global rom. Anyone knows how can I do it?

Btw my current ROM is MIUI Global 8.0 | Stable 8.0.4.0 MBFMIDG.

Thanks, but I think I'm going to return my redmi note 4. Not sure why, but the phone gets very warm very fast, doesn't matter what I do (eg open Settings, Add Gmail Account etc). And I test to play some games and it was laggy. Then I installed GFX bench and do the benchmarks, and when I finished, I compare with Redmi Note 4 result and my score was half of the other Redmi Note 4!!

Maybe I got a lemon unit. Will return it tomorrow to Lazada.

wow this is very informative.. thanks... no wonder my redmi note 4 performance was terrible. Thank God I've returned it to Lazada.. hopefully Lazada will refund me fast
