QUOTE(zher4883 @ Nov 15 2016, 01:48 PM) Thinkin of which one to get for spare phone. Prefer sd for reliable performance, but it seems x20 is better overall comapre to 625, but redmi 4 prime also cheaper now though the note 4 after some discount is also very close in price. Argh. |

QUOTE(darkstar89 @ Nov 15 2016, 02:26 PM) So far not yet. Dunno when it will come. I know china rom got many bloatware and ads. But other than that, any other performance related different? This post has been edited by drummer23: Nov 15 2016, 02:29 PM |

QUOTE(futra @ Nov 15 2016, 10:14 PM) Initially, my idea was to get the RN4 as a spare phone.. but after my prev hp went kaput, it became my main phone. Lemme summarise what I like/dislike abt the phone: Thanks for the feedback bro!+ latest mediatek chipset Helio X20 + 3gb ram & 64gb rom (expandable via microSD) + big screen, minimum bezel + big battery 4100mAh + fast charge, lasts long (enough for 1 day work with full charge) + infrared (can use as remote, tried on my tv, a/cond, fan, etc) + notification light (selectable colours), also displayed when charging (red->yellow->green) + fingerprint (very fast response eg unlock phone) - camera picture quality ok la - cant find any pouch other than the cheap rm10 transparent tpu case at the moment - 2pin charger (but i use my 3pin nokia 1020 charger) - not official in msia, so warranty is by supplier |

QUOTE(benblitz @ Nov 17 2016, 09:56 PM) From what I compared online yes 899 is expensive, but I prefer walk in in case I ever need to claim the warranty. Thanks for the elaborate input, appreciate it. Redmi 4 prime is sd625 bro..I'm typing this on my gold RN4 and it's fantastic for the price. No case only SP installed. Not really digging SP I think may scrape it off and use it naked. Thoughts? Good to hear the it performs daily for you. I'm sure it'll do a fine job for me. GPS is excellent so far. Almost opt for the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime with SD650 just now, but lack of global ROM is an instant turn off for me. Although my only gripe is that the vibration when home/back/recent are pressed are quite strong even at lowest settings. in fact it caused an unpleasant vibrating noise, maybe it is caused by my SP? Edit: downloading 8.0.4.0 as we speak. Painstakingly slow for some reason. |
