Bought already, based on my research, it's compatible with yes 4g volte or lte.. Even the band is suppose to be supported..



Anyway I could use yes 4g sim card as my second sim? As of now, it's automatically disabled

was lucky to get one unit recently.

bought from lazada @ 13 Dec. unit delivered @ 15 Dec. ordered grey unit (black front panel), but inside was silver (white front panel). checked the box, outside sticker wrote 64GB Grey. so, they mixed up what's inside vs outer sticker label.

at first, didnt bother much. loaded with webe unlimited sim card. full speed 4g lte. unit came with 8.0.3.0 global rom. flashed to 8.0.4.0 global rom (1.3GB) via ota updater. everything runs smooth.

was thinking, oh well, why not go back to replace with Grey unit instead.

went back to Terabyte @ sunway mentari to replace the unit immediately. no fuss, easily replaced with no questions asked. update again to 8.0.4.0 global rom (another 1.3GB download) again.

Checked the list of installed apps, there're some (presumably) useless apps that I can't uninstall like Whetstone, Yellow Pages, YGPS, and one chinese-titled app with fingerprint icon - I can't uninstall all these apps.

So I plan to do a factory reset and reinstall global rom. Anyone knows how can I do it?

Btw my current ROM is MIUI Global 8.0 | Stable 8.0.4.0 MBFMIDG.

Thanks, but I think I'm going to return my redmi note 4. Not sure why, but the phone gets very warm very fast, doesn't matter what I do (eg open Settings, Add Gmail Account etc). And I test to play some games and it was laggy. Then I installed GFX bench and do the benchmarks, and when I finished, I compare with Redmi Note 4 result and my score was half of the other Redmi Note 4!!

Maybe I got a lemon unit. Will return it tomorrow to Lazada.

1. Notification toggles now can swipe down to reveal more toggles (not all, but there's a 'More' button)
2. Got some new ringtones, themes, etc.

not yet received this update on my phone yet.

hopefully this update will solve the Bluetooth connect to car audio issue. its kinda irritating because i frequent out station and can't use the hand free.

battery drain problem already fixed rite?
just update and the battery drain seems ok alrdy.
