You could use quick charge charger but you ain't charging any faster because Xiaomi just didn't want to pay extra licensing fee in order to implement Quick Charge 3.0. If they do implement it, the price will be nowhere close to what they are selling right now. Furthermore, battery charged with quick charge will worn out slightly quicker than battery under normal condition.

They need to mark up the price to regain the marketing coast they spent.

The page you linked are specs for Redmi Note 4 sold in India. They won't sell it in Malaysia.

Both website post specs based off Indian Redmi Note 4 variant. Redmi Note 4 comes with three different baseband variant. Xiaomi Malaysia will be shooting their own foot if they sell Indian Variant here. The only Redmi Note 4 with single band WiFi is sold in India and based off Xiaomi Malaysia post, Redmi Note 4 sold in Malaysia comes with dual band WiFi.

Definitely not Indian variant since Indian variant is made in India.

Seems like Xiaomi had changed things up. You will need to flash in edl for snapdragon or download mode for mediatek.

Because it only list LTE bands used by telco in Malaysia and supported by that handset.

Because video editing scales with multi cores very well. MTK had always lose to Snapdragon in gaming performance since their single threaded performance are behind.
