It's like this any business.
The bosses needs to justify why they need to invest in the market and what are their returns.
I agree with you that there are Suzuki hardcore fans in M'sia but the numbers are just too small to justify starting a moped / big bike business (either CBU or CKD).
With the M'sia cubchai market having so many competitors, it's hard(er) to get a profitable slice of the business.
Furthermore, with Suzuki being out of the M'sian bike market for so long, they need to pump in a lot of money to do brand building activities with their dealers and to regain customer's confidence.
And these results won't materialise so soon.
