I am using 11 street and 11 street gave buyer all the detail about me such as my address, name, ic no and phone number to the buyer which all this is private and confidential in all sense.

11 street can do this to seller and I believe this can happens to others as well.

BE AWARE ABOUT IT AND STOP USING IT

I have it but I think is private & confidential as well for me as the prove does have all my information

Well you can show all the relevant evidence and censor all of your private information

This could get someone in real trouble if you can't prove it

Actually I knew it from the postage given by the buyer and thus there too many information there which include that the buyer information

even those telco companies sell our info out too.
What i experience before is the majlis Perbandaran XX sell our info out for RM1 each to 3rd party company..

that's why we got stupid calls from bank for loan and stupid msg from online gambling..

from what I know, those agents at insurance company also doing the same

true. our info money worthy.
i once msg MCMC to complaint. but they ask me to provide more info.

what kind of info they want

1. our spending trend/statistic?
2. our salary? annual salary?
3. our family members?
4. if Chinese or Indian, get to received online gambling promotion msg maybe?
5. etc etc

1) Have you gone through every line in their Terms of Us or whatever policy? Is there anything stating your info is private or the company is not allowed to use it?
2) As many said, most if not all companies are selling information, you think you have an account with banks/telco, they wont use it to their benefit ka ? The fact that your on "www" is already giving info to companies like google and companies do buy data u know ...
3) And unless you have proof, your claims are invalid. Infact, whats stopping 11street from suing you for defaming them without proof?

If you're a seller, name, address and phone number in the delivery info is acceptable but IC number should not be given out.

Looking at the things I buy from G5 & Lazada. The delivery info always has the sellers name (usually company name), address and phone.
Maybe private seller is different?

So, why would 11street release your info to your buyer?

You try to con someone?

The problem is they don't given shop name and then the address is my house address which is not my office address
