I have a business mobile package with MAXIS BERHAD. However, Maxis keep charging my mobile the data roaming 1 day pass everyday when I am oversea which I didn’t sign up for.
In June, I made a complaint that MAXIS unreasonable charges of more than RM200+ for data roaming 1 day pass throughout a Taiwan trip. I called the MAXIS customer service and understand that the service is automatically assigned for certain country. I made a report and request for waiver/refund and cancellation of the automatic assignment of the service to my phone. After that no news and no report number is given.
Last week I saw my bill that MAXIS still charging me the data roaming 1 day pass for more than RM70 for a Philippine trip.
Today I just made a call MAXIS Customer service to find out what had happened. Why I am still being charged with this kind of service. The agent told me that on the end of July a waiver of about Rm70 is granted. My question why only RM70+? MAXIS charged me more than RM200+ for June bill for these data roaming 1 day passes. The agent told me that he will refer this case back to the original agent and request him to return me a call.
MAXIS charge consumer with service which is not requested by consumer. I requested to remove the automatic assignment of data roaming 1 day pass but the incident keep happening. When request refund/waiver, MAXIS only refund partially.
This is like daylight robbery? It is similar to scammer? Send you a bill and say you owe them so much for something you never request. They says this is automatically assigned. This charges keep recurring. License to rob?
Anyone facing this issues? This incident is taking me a lot of time. Last choice will be switch camp to other operator.
