very nice photos. but imho photoCHOP can do something similar rite???

if u go to grand canyon and take a few snaps of the cliffs, then in the studio of white background, take the tripod alone, then the person standing, leaping. use the lasso tool and feather to cut it. alternatively, use the magic wand and select the white background, invert selection.

meddle with the layers and colour. flatten the image and export as JPG

colour composition on the man looks very diff from bg. fake.

it looks pretty real to me but as the link have provided out, it could be due to composition, which makes it even cooler! still a good pic, psed or not..

the question is, why call him the photographer of the year?

nope. its ok. if u pump up the blues on the first photo u'd get it to look similar to the rest. so its just a matter of color balancing

theoretically yes...in practice, its far harder than it seems.

It's fake IMHO.

The shadows of the man and color tones seem a bit off when matched with the cliffs.
