Hey guys.

Just got a used xe2 from a fellow LYN member.

Can't decide between 23f2 and 35f2. So decided to just get both.

Any sellers or shops in klang valley to recommend? That provides cc installment plans.

Thanks:)

im too used to x100 focal length because it's my only camera so i will go for 23mm.
i did tried 35mm before and i can really feel the tightness.

I used to own a X100 and now XT-1. Go for 23mm f1.4
The best lens ever!

Here are some photo I've captured in both the automotive industry and street photography  smile.gif

Thanks for the input.

After researching abit will probly go for the 23 1.4. Coming from the sigma 35 and gonna limit myself to a single lens for at least half a year.

Looking forward to share my pictures here smile.gif

Even the XE2 with latest firmware have classic chrome. I think only XPro1 and XE1 didn't get it

Hi, thinking of getting x-t10 to venture into photography xP! Which lenses would be a better choice ar if I mostly shoot for travel, street, food and portraits and possible landscape.
23mm f2
35mm f2
18-55mm

If you're new to photography then I'd suggest the 18-55. Then only move into primes once you find out whether you're a tele guy or a wide guy. Prime guy or zoom guy. smile.gif From reviews the 18-55 is capable enough, one of the best value kit lens and one of the best performing as well.

Anyone here switched from 35 1.4 to 35 2? Or the other way round?

Keep hearing about how magical 35 1.4 is

My current plan is to get a 35. Then proceed with 56 and 16/1024zoom

Ever consider 23mm and 56mm combo instead?

Else 35mm and 56mm like quite close... previously when I use Nikon... i did use 50mm and 35mm.... end up with just 35mm all the way.... just my opinion... like to hear your thoughts as well..... with 23mm and 56mm combo... u can use 56 for portrait and 23 as main walkabout lens...
*
23 and 56 was my initial plan. But when I first started photography some time ago with the x100. Never really clicked with the 35mm fl. Preferred 50mm for my walkaround and daily lens.

I like to go wide all the way when im using wide angle. So I'm going to go with 1024/14/16 35 and 56.

Thanks for the suggestion too

Crap... so price increase is real... but the cashback promo news was fake...
*
I'm gonna get 35 2 I guess. Price increase but only by rm100. Fotokem no 23 f2 on stock yet.

Cashback promo in UK very tempting. My cousin just got a xt10 with 1650 kit lens at adorama or bnh cant remember. Only 350pounda with cashback promo.

Joined a portrait session last weekend.

Laptop broke down so only manage to pp the JPEGS in LR mobile. Images might appear noisy.

can try upload sooc pic, without edit...?

Only the bnw is sooc jpeg without adjustments

The rest are JPEGs taken with CC filter then done exposure adjustment in lightroom, mostly underexposed.

Will try to upload the non processed ones tonight.
