Just got the X70 today. Any small small flash for it?

The auto ISO is a little messed up. It was during the day. Set Auto ISO 1 (minimum SS 1/60, max ISO 800)
It chose for me SS 1/500 and ISO500 LOL....

p/s: Anyone notice any noticeable difference between L (ISO 100) and the base ISO 200?

How much was the wasabi batt and charger?
*
Can get it for RM130-140.

The batteries are rated at 2200mAh instead of the original 1800mAh.

Will be at Singapore for a couple of nights. Will be bringing:

Fuji X70
Godox TT350F
2 Wasabi batteries + charger
Benro MK10 mini tripod for selfies
Lenspen

Still waiting for the successor to the X70. Something that is small and thin enough (44m thin) where I can put it in my pocket when I go traveling. Something that has a tilting screen so that I can take wefies - Wefies with a selfie stick is so much better than asking a random stranger to take ugly pictures. Something that is faster than the f/2.8 lens in the X70 and has image stabilization (The X70 isnt great in low light). Something that has a big sensor (minimum 4/3 sensor).

Found nothing so far that fits the criterias above. Guess I'll stick with the X70 for now smile.gif

Always had thoughts of finally moving into the Fujifilm interchangeable system after having a great experience with the Fuji X70 which I have been using for the past 1 year already.

My main interchangeable system is the Sony A6000 and several lenses which I have been using since 4 years ago.

The MAIN reason why I'm highly likely moving to Fuji is because of the amazing colour reproduction. Yes, what you heard on the internet is true.
The colour reproduction is pretty damn good and like they say, the colours POP! This is true for both RAW and JPEG files.

I could try to replicate Fuji colours on my Sony by post processing but it would take too much time. Shooting with the Fuji enables me to spend less time on the post processing stage (although I still do spend a lot of time on selected few shots which I think can be added to my portfolio). For trip to Singapore, shooting with the Fuji X70, I did not even have to edit the RAW files as it was already damn good.
_______________________________________________________________________________

I'm not looking into getting something expensive to "step into" the Fuji ecosystem. Looking for something affordable that works but I might always upgrade to a better body later on (I'm hoping the XT4 comes with IBIS). I am primarily a travel and landscape photographer but I do also take portraits of my SO.

Some pictures I've taken with the A6000
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

I am looking at the Fujifilm XT20 (used unit) which goes for RM2,400 and a Fuji 10-24 f/4 (used unit) which goes for RM3,000. Might add the Fuji 16 f/1.4 later on.

I know about the XT2 which cost around RM3,300 (used unit) but the advantages over the XT20 like weather sealing, faster/better AF (?) and other features doesn't really benefit my style of photography so far and not to mention the XT-2 is 32% heavier as well. And oh, the X-T30 could be announced anytime early next year.. confused.gif

Appreciate any input here notworthy.gif

Compare with x-t3 ,xh-1 is cheaper ,have IBIS but heavier and more bulk and slightly worse AF. So how arr?
ACTUALLY , how good is Fuji much admired color science? Is it facts or myth or just merely overhyped.

I can attest to it, it's actually good! Also I love their film simulation which you can apply as presets

Price quite steep at this time frm my opinion for mid range mlc (3.8 k for body. 5-6k with lenses) I will wait few months. Replacing my X-T1 soon
*
Looking at it as well as the 18-55 lens.

I think street price of the XT30 could be around 3.3-3.5k easily after a few months and I could get a used 18-55 lens for RM1,000.

Bought my X-T30 grip biggrin.gif Something to complain about the XT30 is that i kept on bumping the Q button when resting my thumb. Also the eye sensor kept on turning off my LCD when i tilt the screen for a low level shot.

Hey care to share a pic on how it looks like with the grip?

Also, how much for the grip and any link? biggrin.gif

Didn't know it's that expensive. Btw I guess the tripod mount is used up by the grip already...which means if you need to use the tripod you need to detach the grip..

What accesseries do you guys use?

Extra batteries, lens filters, peak design capture system and possibly an external grip for the XT30 body if I find it too small

To the XT3 and XT30 owners, how would you programme the camera if you have to pass it to a stranger to take pictures of you and your family?

1) Set it to "touch focus to shoot" and ask the person to touch on the faces displayed on the screen, or

2) Set face detection on and pre-select the face of your family member in the screen and ask the person to press the shutter button.

There could be other people in the frame and maybe people walking past

Which would be the easiest and most fail proof and do add any other methods..
