QUOTE(ky_guy @ Aug 25 2016, 04:32 PM) so does that mean the only reason ppl go for 35mm prime lens is due to better quality of pics? but in terms of AOV is the same even with 18-55mm lens? was trying to understand if already have 18-55mm lens already, then is there a need to go for 35mm lens better photo quality ,sharpness and bokehhhh~ QUOTE(fruitie @ Aug 25 2016, 04:29 PM) Never go against the power of big aperture. I will still stick to my 23mm f/1.4. the only reason i keep it is F1.4

It's kinda stupid that need to turn on GPS in order to use SP-2. Anyway, my boss is going to the US again next month and coming back in November, any worthy camera stuff to buy from there?

QUOTE(ky_guy @ Aug 25 2016, 04:01 PM) hi guys...wanna understand....is 35mm on a 18-55mm lens is same at prime 35mm lens? in terms of framing the shot I don't think so, when u zoom in both photo, you may found different sharpness, bokeh and image quality. Convenience = Zoom Quality = Prime

QUOTE(tcm7782 @ Aug 25 2016, 09:48 AM) but sp-2 still over exposure, this one i -10 brightness, if using intelligent filter inside the app, will get more contrast but totally over exposure(cannot adjust brightness when using filter). ori phot DSCF3258thank you, i expected around that setting...that day i tested, i adjusted contrast which i did wrong mistake....but it tends to overexposure when it is outdoor and have highlight stuff..

QUOTE(ImAn @ Aug 26 2016, 08:42 AM) tauke, any tips or way to get rebate faster?.... hehehe Got, move to Australia only buy the Fuji lens there. Australia last time someone said their cashback after submit took less than 2 weeks to bank in Joke aside, once pass 30 WORKING DAYS call Fujifilm Malaysia and ask about your cashback. Since they promised within 30 working days, it's your right to chase for it.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Aug 24 2016, 10:37 AM) I am thinking to shoot wide open too for some of the subjects, I hope it won't disappoint me but for the price I'm paying, worth for it. Even wide opened is easy to shoot because everything is in focus especially landscape for such a wide lens. Unless you decide to do portrait inclusive of the landscape as the background, then you might want to stop down the aperture to get both your subject and background in focus. As regards, MF, I have to be honest, it needs a bit of getting used to. Even though everything is in focus, but when I press the shuttle release half way, I still expect to hear the beep sound for focus confirmation. When it doesnt, then I will realise it is my sweet little MF 12mm. This post has been edited by Loseeker: Aug 26 2016, 09:55 PM
