Poor cassette tape kena abused, for no reason sweat.gif

Could be the choice of hosting the images in LYN forum applying crappy image compression on the image served, or just operator error; the photos aren't really a good demo of the lens's updated capabilities (which some speculate as an upgrade in lens resolving resolution for the upcoming newer sensors)

Yes,100f still very good. Used price is good too! Regretted that i sold mine off. So hard to find used X100V now, at a good price.

Go look at shop prices (example: YLcamera; KLDSLR) for those used items at a guidelines. Remember that is the price a buyer would pay the shop, not the price the shop would buy you stuff from you. Shop is a business and has margins to make and monthly operational costs and tries to sell people stuff they want quickly, at prices they willing to pay for. So price yours accordingly. Ebay sold listings prices an be a rough guide too.

PS: there probably is an internet FAQ on buying and selling your own photographic equipment somewhere,

That 100V is practically new, like the xpro3 you wont find any used unit for a while. Folks who bought these types of camera knew what they were doing, with those launch prices. Even if they don't like it and decide to sell, it would be picked up on the used market almost instantly sweat.gif

You'll get a chance to see used units when fuji announces newer flagship models, eg. X-pro4, 100VI, X-H2 (probably icon_rolleyes.gif ) and people jumpship

Hi... I need an advice from sifu2 here...

Which is better buy if you kind have a limited budget <5k

1. Fujifilm x-t200 with kit lens + zoom lens + prime lens

or

2. Fujifilm x-t30 with kit lens only??

Is there any big difference between these two model especially for low light or night photography?

Please note there will be no further future fund or saving for the purchase of lens in the next 2-3 year as it will be allocated for my other toys/gadget....😁😉

Any comments on Viltrox AF lenses? From reviews they seem really good compared to the Fuji counterparts especially in Value.

having 33mm viltrox.. i think better stick to xf 35mm f2.. the close focal range is not ideal.. and color.. cause i shoot in jpeg only, it made the fuji colors more tone down when compared to my 16mm f2.8.. more towards cool tone

Currently using XF 35mm f1.4. Thinking to get Viltrox 23mm(new) or XF 23mm f2(used), very close in price. Saw some reviews like you mentioned, colors are less warm but more true to life, and the details seems sharper even at f1.4, is it true ? AF speed seems the same for both. weather sealing not important to me.

it's sharp definitely but when comes to AF there's a few miss. let's say out of 10 you may have 1-2 miss shots. overall for RM1.2k can't complain. Yeah but i prefer the colors which pops out a little. mind you the pictures taken is really dull. Shooting on Eterna color profile it's so flat.

i think if you have the moolah your better off with the fuji lens but if you have tight budget and really wanted a 23mm f1.4 i guess no harm.

PS: to fuji owners do you set the DR priority? mine could set from 100 > 200 > 400 was thinking should i just put it at 400 all the time.

If you can get a used Viltrox 23mm f1.4 to try out first, it's no harm. Can always sell it if u don't like it. Got mine 2nd hand for RM900. Really don't like the very obvious vignette at f1.4 and the strong purple fringing at high contrast scene. But the cheapest Fuji 23mm f1.4 offered to me was RM2200, which was still more than double the price. I almost went with the fuji 23mm, but I find the price hard to swallow. The money saved ended up getting the viltrox 85 f1.8 II also for RM900. I don't regret the decision because both lenses still cost me less than one fuji. Did a paid job with the viltrox 23mm, got to say, I was more than impressed with the results it delivered, so was my clients. nod.gif

The 1.4 at the price is too tempting. Is the vignetting too obvious wide open ? Fringing i supposed can be fixed in post. Dont really see used units around. New is rm1.2+k though, which is not too bad.

I agree. For f1.4, that price is hard to beat. The vignetting is a bit annoying to look at, at the LCD. But it can be easy fixed in post. The same is not true for the fringing. IF you always shoot high contrast scene with leaves, then it is better to get the fuji 23mm instead, F2 version if u're on a low budget. For used unit, you just need to rajin to stalk around Fuji user group malaysia FB group. It will pop up from time to time. 23mm is not my priority focal length, hence I don't want to spend so much on the lens. Having said that, the AF speed is fast and quiet and also works well on older bodies like XT1. On top of that, the centre sharpness is actually better than fuji 23 f1.4 older version, just that I wish the MFD can be shorter.
