My sirui CF tripod broke where the CF rod connects to the legs area.

Replaced it with a manfrotto CF travel tripod used from e bay. Really awesome and sturdy. I also noticed that while there are many CF tripod, a lot depends on the other non CF parts as well to see how light and sturdy it is in the end

Erm.. Not sure how but yes Manfrotto is good, I have their monopod too. laugh.gif

Yes there is. U can google the models and see the weight. Manfrotto ball heads are expensive so my ballhead is sirui lol

I'm using Sirui R-1204 and G-10 ball head. Bought from Taobao more than 3 years ago for around RM 400 only, these days I think costs much more for a CF tripod due to currency fluctuation.

i was wrong i am actually using a gitzo.cant remember my model but mine is an old gen body only traveller series cf tripod. i got it for 200usd

For u info, i just bought Sirui CF tripod N1205+k10 from taobao include courier to my house total cost rm900
Still cheaper than buy here

Wow, didn't know CF cost so much these days. Glad that I made the correct decision more than 3 years ago.
Yeah, when I bought mine, it cost around RM 600 that time.
I think mine already end of production.
