#1 + 4
enterprise = around rm 100
SDN BHD = RM 1500-2500 ; additional cost = company sec required, so thats RM 50-150 per month x 12 months , audit required (annual) = RM 500-1500, accounts filing required (annual) = RM 500-5000

#2 +3 , tax = almost same , corporate tax in malaysia is about 24% (based on net earning after expenses) , GST = 6% (based on gross)

the question is, r u local or a foreigner?
btw this info can be found in ssm, along with application form, etc. try google ssm malaysia.

1. Enterprise - Below RM 500 can settle.

Sdn. Bhd. - A bit more usually. To be safe, RM 2k would be sufficient for the registration.

But as mentioned by Gamestotal - You'll need the following :

a. Company secretary - To keep your records
b. Auditor of your choice - Audit
c. Tax agent - Tax computation.

( Some Co Sec offers all the services above. )

2. Tax -

Sdn. Bhd. = 24% but you can claim expenses to offset business profit. If you are doing bigger business, this is much better.

3. Tax calculation - Depends on your turnover and assets. The more it is, the higher the fees would be.

4. Yearly fees?

a. Co sec's fee
b. Audit fee
c. Tax agent fee

Most of the doctors I work with have a Sdn Bhd and they utilize the auditors and tax guys to try to squeeze as much tax cut from their high pays

it depends on your objective and size of your company.

if you are new to business and small (like below RM100k net profit), go to sole prop not sdn bhd. unless you have lots of money and planned to grow bigger and get contract from larger companies. else better stick to non-sdn bhd.

else the sdn bhd compliance cost is gonna kill you, audit, accounting, tax agent, company sec, agm, and if late submit report penalty 99 from ssm, late tax payment also 99

Government no more allow doctor to be registered as sdn bhd ij dealing with their income.

Was this recent? Or was it because of that heart specialist who was caught for owing 9 million of taxes to the government
