You can create as many tags you want, but are these tags associated with any Xbox Live Gold accounts? No Gold, no online. End of story.

Gamertags are what represents you in Xbox Live. You can create as many tags as you want, but all these tags do is personalizing an individual/profile on Live. To PLAY on Xbox Live, you need to activate these tags with an Xbox Live GOLD subscription. All created tags are automatically Xbox Live SILVER subscribed, unless you change it to GOLD by purchasing the GOLD subscription. So I can have a million Gamertags but if they are not subscribed to Xbox Live GOLD, they are useless except for downloading free contents off Xbox Live Marketplace.

Sama la macam ini. Your Gamertag is your car, you can go here go there, but to have fun playing with others, you need Gold subscription.

EDIT: Noticed you asked for the 30 days trial. I have associated only one with the 30 day trial GOLD, have to ask others for multiple tags for that. Get Gold subscription, it is seriously worth it.

Yeah, but can you use both tags with your trial Live Gold, meaning play online with others using both of your tags?
