for gloves, cheapo gloves for the rain.. doesnt need to be waterproof.. as long as ur hands are still covered... so that it doesnt hurt like a son of a beech during the ride. if u want cheapo waterproof, go to bike shops and buy them RM100 "leather" gloves. my neighbour has the soft gauntlet length "leather" glove (branded RS TAichi) and its waterproof. looks good and friggin comfy too.
for storage, backpacks, tank bang, tail bag, removable saddle bag. all can be had for cheap for replicas. comes with rain cover too so no need to worry about rain so much.
EDIT: by "bike shops" i mean those normal bike shops that sells kapchais...if they also sell bigger bikes then better chances of finding the items. doesnt have to be specialized bike accesory shops.

btw...hows the haze in penang? thinking of heading there in 2 weeks.

So is the rm100 RS Taichi glove fake? I've been eyeing some of them on mudah.my. If not then is there an official retailer for RS Taichi?
Any comments would be appreciated as I'm also buying gears to prep for a new bike.

Speaking of which, is the level of protection between mesh and leather differs alot? Anyone here ever gone down on mesh before?

I'm planning to buy from Welly Bikes Sunway, both goes for around 1.8k.
Anyone knows of any lobangs with lower price? tongue.gif

close call. but HJC looks slightly better.  smile.gif

Right? hmm.gif for me the only thing Shoei got going for it is the guaranteed quality and long lasting, while the HJC is relatively new in the premium market.
I think I'll go with the HJC. Thanks mate.

Around RM 340.00, i think, cant really remember.
Get from the distributor itself, NKS SPORT BIKERS SDN BHD

I am using HJC, previously compared it against AGV K3 SV. Personally I find HJC IS 17 quality for same range is slightly better than that AGV K3 SV. Compare against other brand, i have not tried yet.

I did once try on RPHA10, not 11, i cant stuck my glasses on it, but RF1200 and AGV pista and corsa did so well.

For padding, RF1200 really better than RPHA10 once i try the helmet.

Currently i am using RF1200.
I buy Shoei bcoz HJC cant fit my glasses.

Anyway that is just my own opinion.

I own a HJC FG-15 Draco and a Shoei Neotec.

The Shoei is a superior helmet in all aspects. You truely get what you pay for.

Yeah everything points to rf1200 being superior, am just hoping that hjc up the ante on rpha 11. Will decide lepas tengok both hands on. Thanks for your opinion thumbsup.gif
